RNCOS, an upcoming research analyst group after undertaking an in-depth study published a market research report named “Food Processing Industry in China (2005)” in which it tells that in 2004 the Chinese food processing market accounted a total sales of RMB 444Bn. This growth is expected to remain appreciable and continue at 7% throughout 2004-09.

The demands for food to meet the expanding global population are growing faster than the ability of food producers to meet those demands. Increases in food production will have to come from increasing biological yields, and not from area expansion and more irrigation -- systems already overburdened.
