Our nutrition supply mainly comes from the food that we eat everyday. But to some people who are too engrossed in the act of dieting, the amount of nutrition they are getting is half of what normal people have since they do not even have three regular meals a day. Same thing happens with the majority of people who are too busy with their work commitments that they are unable to eat properly. Most of the times, they are unable to eat the right foods at the right time, resulting into a much lesser nutrition levels than what it should be.

We all know that protein is very important for the growth of body mass and to recover quickly from any downfall of health quickly. Simply stated, protein is needed for the improvement of your weight growth and building of body mass. Without it, you will basically look like a child suffering from malnutrition! So in order to avoid this awful thing to happen, we must eat foods that are rich in protein such as fish, milk, eggs, and other dairy products as well as meat and confectionaries. It would be best if we should always include these foods in our breakfast and lunch.

 

Calcium

Calcium is also an important nutrition supply that your food must have. However, calcium comes with some caveats too. Too much of it in the body can lead to various complications, but at the same time lack of it causes even worse problems. Since calcium builds up the largest part of our bones, it certainly needed in larger amounts. Dairy products such as milk, butter, and cheese are foods that are rich in calcium.

 

Vitamins

 

Vitamins build up most of the nutrition needed by our body. There are many different types of vitamins available, but more often than not our body mainly requires Vitamin A, B, C, D, E, and K. These vitamins are very important and should be contained in every food that we eat simply because they help in digestion, absorbance of nutrients, building of mass, and keeping the immune system active and running.

 

Theoretically speaking, many of us know the basics of good nutrition but failed to put it in to practice. We prefer soda over water and chips instead of carrots. We choose to exercise less and eat out more. Just knowing the nutrition ABC’s is not enough, applying them is where the distinction between success and failure lies.
